Wheel chair donation report
On the 20th of October we had a wheel chair donation event at the ECSAT premises. All the wheelchairs were purchased as a result of the WHEELS OF FORTUNE event held in Colombo in 2010.
The chief guests were Mrs. Danthanarayana - Director of Social Services in the Southern Province and Mrs. Kalyani De Silva - Chief SSO in the Southern Province, Mr. Someswaran - President of the ECSAT Board of Directors and Ms Catherine Mole MBE, Founder of ECSAT.
On that day 15 wheel chairs were donated to people in need, all of whom were supported by their family members to attend the event and take the wheelchairs back to their homes.
