President : Mr T Someswaran (Fellow, Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka)
Mr T. Someswaran is a senior partner of SJMS Associates (correspondent firm to Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu). His committee membership includes Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (Ethics Committee); Society of Certified Management Accountants (Governing Council); International Chamber of Commerce Sri Lanka Branch (Executive Committee); European Chamber of Commerce (Treasurer); Ashoka Innovators for the Public (Secretary); Centre for the Advancement of Resource Mobilisation (Chairman) .

Amenthi Jasinghe (Fundraising and Marketing)
Ms Jasinghe is a specialist in marketing and fundraising for organizations such as Motivation and Handicap International.

Catherine Liyanage (Disability, Management)
Mrs Liyanage has a long and varied history of working with disabled
people and developing organizations working with them. She is a trainer and lecturer on the inclusion of disabled people in all sectors. In addition, she has provided system development services to small businesses and non governmental organisations across the island.


M. Y. S. Deshapriya (Government systems, Community Based Rehabilitation)
Mr Deshapriya works for the UNDP. As the former Director of Social Services in the Southern Province of Sri Lanka, he spearheaded the introduction of CBR for people with disabilities and developed the first five year plan on disability for the southern province.

Bhavani Fonseka (Law and Rights)
Ms Fonseka (LLB, LLM) is a Senior Researcher at the Center for Policy Alternatives (CPA) working and campaigning for positive policies on gender, HIV/AIDS, land, refugees and IDPs, conflict resolution, human rights, legal and constitutional law.

Ruzly Hussein (Commerce, Sales and Marketing)
Mr Hussein is the owner of the successful retail chain Abdul Rahims and the Dwellings store in Colombo. He is an active member of the Rotary Club and the business community, and has ancestral links with Galle where ECSAT is based.

Lilani Perera (Legal, HR and Business)

Attorney-at-law with almost 30 years work experience including 5 years in recovery work with the Inland Revenue in UK, 5 years at a Fortune 500 company handling Human Resources, Legal Affairs and Administration and 8 years as the Executive Director of a multi national group of companies in Information Technology. Presently the Chief Executive Officer of the Sri Lanka Institute of Directors.
