About Friends of ECSAT UK

Friends of ECSAT UK (FoE UK) was set up to raise funds and give support and advice to ECSAT. FoE UK is a registered charity (number 1132881) and is run entirely by volunteers.

Our vision is that ECSAT's inclusive, community based model is internationally recognised, financially sustainable and continually developing.  We aim to build the strength and capacity of ECSAT in Sri Lanka through engaging in fundraising, capacity building and awareness raising.

FoE also runs a webshop with handicrafts produced at ECSAT, applies for grants in the UK and arranges events and activities to raise funds for ECSAT.

We run events for ECSAT supporters in the UK and attend major annual events such as the Festival of Cricket and BRISLA (British Sri Lanka Association) Awards.  In 2017 we were proud to be the beneficiary charity of the BRISLA Awards being held at Lords cricket ground.
